Join this FREE online course and get a feeling for how our art classes flow. You’ll access the same classroom as all of our online classes so you can learn to create this unique image from Morocco in three different mediums.
Graphite - use ANY pencil (I’ll be using a mechanical #2 to keep it simple)
Ink - ballpoint pens or any liner pen - we’ll dive into how to draw and shade in ink
Color wash - use watercolors, watered down kid’s paints, pencils or even coffee!

Sketch an accurate structure in pencil. Cover the basics of construction and shading.
02 Ink / Pen
Follow a light sketch with ink to illustrate this gorgeous scene. Learn basic shading in pen!
03 Color Wash + Ink
Work with colors (any medium, I’ll be using watercolor) to show the vibrancy of the image!

In Morocco: 3 Ways, Rose walks you through the process of capturing a single moment from the beauty of Morocco - a unique doorway with an olive tree. Working with simple materials you have on hand, you’ll learn how to break down so much information into shapes, shading and how to craft a memory into a keepsake. Enjoy this invitation to slow down, observe, simplify what you see, and build each work in manageable layers.

Absolutely! This class is designed for EVERYONE! Start where you are and work with what you have on hand! Art is for all of us!

The course is self-paced. You’ll receive access to the video lessons and digital workbook, so you can begin when you’re ready and work through it on your own schedule.

I’m working on watercolor friendly postcards, but you can use anything you’ve got on hand. If you’re joining me for the color-wash or watercolor, I recommend a mixed media paper or watercolor paper that can handle the water and not buckle.

No. Use what you have. The class uses a limited number of materials on purpose, and you can substitute similar colors where needed.

Yes. The class includes a downloadable PDF with the supply list, reference information, and step-by-step process.
