This painting evokes the concept of shinrin-yoku. Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.” So shinrin-yoku means bathing in the forest atmosphere, or taking in the forest through our senses. The waterfalls running from one to the next remind us that when we cultivate enough, we can let it spill into all areas of our lives, and into the lives of others, endlessly pouring over.

30" x 40" gallery wrapped canvas, original oil paints, abstract impressionism, dreamscape of waterfalls, forest, mist, rich earth and flecks of gold.
